So I'm thinking of going android after owning an iPhone for too long.

One thing I'm worried about is the apparent lack of music controls from the lock screen. I don't want to have to unlock my phone constantly to change song.
Is there a way to do this?
My friend who owns an android says there isn't, but he is an idiot.

Btw I'm not sure which android phone I want, it's probably between the samsung galaxy s2 or the xperia play. Each have their pros and cons for me.
