Hi /g/,
I come from this thread on /wg/,
>>>/wg/4100810 I'm looking for a PC design that is economical for a startup pc business I run (I'm a youngfag).
Graphic Design - print and web for cheap
Samsung 1TB Spinpoint $64.90
HIS 6950 1GB $257.40
Silverstone 500w PSU $60.50
Intel i5-2500 $227.7
Corsair 4GB 2x4gb 1600mhz $112.20
Antec Darkfleet DF-10 $90.20
Asus P8P67-M $156.20
Samsung SH-S223C DVDRW $32.89

In my case, I'm not sure if I'd benefit using an i5 2500 since I'd be able to utilise the additional cores featured in the 1090t. I'd still achieve excellent frame-rates in modern games.

Phenom X5 955 should be enough. It's cheaper and the motherboards are far cheaper. You don't need a high end graphics card for graphics desgin. The only time it could be useful is if you were using CUDA on Nvidia cards. 8GB of RAM...probably will come in handy. Reasonable build.

And here's an equivalent I designed a few months ago. This is a complete tower for cheap that I think is quite powerful, while avoiding the whole Sandy Bridge/Bulldozer hype shit.

>>17259691 that build would be great for gaming though, be sure to overclock the i5, even if it isn't the 2500k.

>>17260074 This is with SB i5-2500k overclocked with water cooling. It is cheap, and very powerful. I wouldn't say it's a craze, but for designers they'll benefit from more cores.
Pic related.
