Ok, so I got sick of fucking Firefox 4 being so goddamn slow despite only having Greasemonkey and Adblock Plus so I downloaded Chromium.

Now, how the fuck do I find a build that won't crash on me every 20 pages? Doesn't somebody have a page that tracks the usable builds?

OP here, yes I'm not an idiot but if people claim to be using Chromium so I figured there was at least a system in place to not have to use a browser that crashes every 20 pages.

OP, you either have shitty plugins (java, flash, etc.) that have not been updated or are buggy, or you have a corrupt firefox profile (make a new one). Either way, neither of the extensions you have cause major crashes. It's user error.

It does, thanks to the buildbot.

Use something like Chromium nightly updater and it'll check the build against the buildbot before downloading, it gets the most recent pass.

Use Firefox 4 with Scriptish instead of Greasemonkey. Install NoScript and don't add any filters that are too broad to AdBlock Plus (don't add shit like *analytics* or *quantseve* when you have NoScript installed).

I'm using Firefox Nightly 6A1 64 bit.

It's noticeably faster than FF3/4/Chrome/SRWare/Chromium.

The beta 64bit flash plugin is stable.

I don't see any reason to change from it, but after the few meager benchmarks I ran FF6 was coming 10-30% faster than FF4/IE9/Chro*

Chromium isnt a stable browser, shit is bound to crash and often does so. Used it for quite some time myself. Switched back to FF/Nightly when they fucked up the scrollbar

I just don't understand why IE9 manages to display hardware accelerated fonts perfectly and the most up to date version of FF 6 still looks like shit if I don't turn of HW acceleration.

It's the same as AA tuner only build in and with presets set.

It doesn't do anything to DirectWrite, just changes the light and blurry fonts to look like GDI ones.
