I have this exact piece of shit. 1GB and it can't even hold its data.
So here's the problem. I use this when I go around and do errands and shit. I've taken it apart and inspected the logic board and battery, both are looking fine, no corrosion, no bad spots.What ends up happening is, I wil plug it in, add music to it, eject it, and fet the Orange/Green flashing error. When I plug it back in, it will ask me if I want to set up my iPod. fucking hell.
Sometimes it doesn't. sometimes it sees it all but still doesn't work.
What does this sound like? bad flash chip? bad component on the board I can't see visibly? I thought I'd have a bit of fun with it since it seems to be epically failing on me.
