so whats /g/'s opinion which one should I buy? I like how fast the ipad 2 is and all the apps that it has but i like the slightly larger screen and higher resolution on the xoom its a hard decision

The specs + the apps are still better than the transformer, playbook, and whatever half-assed tablets that are currently out.

What are you blabbering about? The specs on the iPad 2 are horrible compared to other tablets. Plus the rear facing and front facing camera/webcam sucks so bad they even recommend you don't use it.

I like how it shipped half-finished, without the 4G and Flash which supposedly gave it an advantage over the iPad.

It's also cool that it's less powerful than the iPad, has no apps, yet still costs more. I honestly don't see why anyone would buy this.

Androidfags, if you really even want a tablet, don't buy the Xoom. It's a half-assed job, Moto just wanted a presence so they could cash in on the Apple tablet wave.

maybe, but its alot easier to carry around then a heavy laptop, and I dont really like netbooks tiny keyboard and cheap feel I like more simple operating systems like android or ios as well because it lets me get to where i need to fast instead of powering the thing up waiting for it to turn on then logging in and going to a menu then open the program and wait for it to load, I prefer it being on instantly and just going to the app for the thing i need (mail, web, videos, pictures etc)
