Would you change an Athlon64 3200+ (2.2 GHz) socket 754 for a Pentium 4 2.8 HT (2.8GHz, 1MB L2, 800 MHz FSB)?
Both would share the same hardware (except motherboard, of course) so raw cpu power is the dilemma. Use is office programs, Internet and BOINC applications.
Mindless overclocking of the P4 is to be considered, since I got it and mobo from the junkyard!
