Hey guys,
Firefox 4 has become quite heavy with resources on my box so i want to switch over to another browser.
Will the nightly build FF take less resources?

Anyway, I'd give Chrome/Chromium a try and see how you like that.

I have to say though, all Firefox versions have seemed to perform about the same on my now 5 year old ThinkPad for the entire five years I've had it.

Yeah indeed, in defense i do have to say i am running photoshop, spotify, tweetdeck, mirc and msn and firefox has a bitch load of tabs openend up.

Yes, but you should be able to transfer your bookmarks and the like. A lot of similar add-ons are available for Chrome/Chromium, but you will have to get them.
