Hello /g/, my boyfriend's birthday is coming up in 2 weeks, and I don't know what to get him. I want to get him some type of gadget, because he loves that kind of stuff, but I don't know what. I was thinking of getting him an iPad, but he doesn't like Apple stuff. Are there any other cool gadgets out right now? My spending limit is $600. Thank you guys =)

I don't like apple stuff, but the ipad is fucking awesome. I have one that was given to me. I wouldn't have spent that much on one personally, but getting it as a gift is fucking awesome.

I go to a preppy university. There are plenty of quietcomforts around. They're godawful pieces of shit with paper cones in them. They sound awful. The active noise cancellation makes a high pitched noise that 40+ year olds can't hear, but plenty of teenagers and 20-30 year olds can.

I wouldn't use QuietComforts if I had a free pair. I'd sell it, or, if that wasn't an alternative, throw them out.
