Does anyone know why, with all the positive steps Windows 7 took over Vista/XP... they had to completely fuck up dual monitor support?

-Windows autodetects monitors that are on or off, and then disables them automatically. So for those of us (most) that leave our PCs on with the monitors off, we have to enable them again and move all our windows around every time we come back to the PC.

-No more individual wallpapers for each monitor unless you get a third party program to do it.

-Can't use the new window snapping feature when in dual monitors because dragging the window to the right edge will move it to the second monitor instead of making the window take up the other half of the first screen.

Of these, the most annoying is the supposed "feature" that disables the monitor when turned off. You can't keep your windows on the second monitor, they all get reset to the first one EVERY FUCKING TIME. I've looked into it and some people have even modified a pin on the DVI cable to disable that signal from being sent. When people are modding their hardware to turn off a "feature" there is a goddamn problem.

And yes, Imad.
