Trying to decide on web hosting for my personal resume/portfolio/other shit website. I could host it from home with a .com/.net/.whatever from dyndns for $30 (a year), and have all the benefits of having my own dedicated machine that I can do whatever-the-fuck I want with. Downside is I'm at the mercy of my ISP's bandwidth limit (250gb), potential power outages, etc. Upload speed here is 6-7mbps. Or I could go the commercial route (godaddy?) and get the same domain+hosting for $50 (a year). Unlimited bandwidth, but only 10gb storage and I don't have a dedicated machine (so that means no hosting game servers like I do now, and limitations on other things). Plus side being zero downtime, and me really not having to worry about a damn thing once my site is up. Help me choose >.<
