So /g/, I'm wondering: how would a system built like this perform:
Dual-core 1.8 ghz newest generation Atom.
4 GB DDR-800 CAS 5 or 6 memory.
SSD over SATA II.
Discrete graphics, ATI 5450, 512MB DD3, 80 stream processors, over a standard PCI connector.
What could it reasonably do or not do? What sort of conventional computer would it compare with?
I'm just curious, not in the market myself, so don't flame me if this is hideously stupid. This is apparently the fastest Atom/low power system you can build, excepting for subbing in a faster SSD- the one in the Newegg cart illustration is a little slow.
