i plan on upgrading my battlestation piece by piece over the next 3 years....
right now i'm looking for a monitor that has hdmi (for xbox) and dvi (for my shitty gfx card)

now eventually i plan on having 3 monitors, and a better gfx card/computer
so what would be an easily extensible setup?

figuring out display connectors and their advantages/disadvantages is seriously the only thing i have a hard time with

my father says good things about viewsonic and lg, and his employer can get me some for distributor prices...

i honestly don't know what the fuck is going on in the display world

ps; what is an easily extensible motherboard socket? (ie having the most available processors that would fit going from low end to high end) LGA 775?
