>The Galaxy S II's screen is nothing short of spectacular. Blacks are impenetrable, colors pop out at you, and viewing angles are supreme. >We'd even go so far as to say it's better than the iPhone 4's screen >General responsiveness is absolutely exemplary. >there's simply never been an Android handset this smooth and this fluid in its operation. Nothing phases the GSII >that Quadrant score can be taken as highly representative of the chasm that exists between the Galaxy S II and smartphones that have come before it. It really is that much better. Put simply, this is the most powerful mobile handset we've yet tested. >Page scrolling is so smooth it borders on slippery, pinch-to-zoom is flawless, and re-orienting the screen from portrait to landscape and back is done in a flash. >For a handset with such a broad range of standout features and specs, the Galaxy S II is remarkably easy to summarize. It's the best Android smartphone yet, but more importantly, it might well be the best smartphone, period. >Sometimes it's just as simple as that. So why haven't you ordered one?

Well, you can get the Atrix for around $450 now on craigslist. The Desire HD is about $500. I know this is the best phone spec wise, but $800 is a lot of fucking money. And yes, I'm a poorfag. : |

>>17272239 It's not like Samsung explained months ago that SAMOLED Plus with 50% more subpixels would need at least 4.3" at 480x800.
Nope, they're just cheap using the latest tech in OLED screens while everyone else is going with 540x960 PenTile LCDs to save costs (for a comparison, an 800x480 PenTile is effectively 392x653).

I just wish the resolution was upped a tad. I'm sure colors will pop on the SGS2 screen, but I'm waiting to watch a Blu Ray quality movie on a screen like that

It's fucking expensive at the moment, and I don't want to buy into a contract. I've been sitting on getting a decent phone for ages, but I could never decide whether to get the Desire Z for its keyboard and (now) lower price, or wait for something to knock my socks off. Hell, there might be an exemplary WP7 device that could be ahead of the pack at some point. The OS would certainly be better for battery life.

I know it's running android but it's been made so that it looks and feels as much like the mobile operating system that you hate.. and all of you apple hating fags pick up on it. Me personally.
