First post here but it'd appear you're the guys to ask as all the forums I've read basically point to macfag conformity.
I produce music live and I'm the only person I know that doesn't use a macbook but soon I'm moving into live performing with effects processing on real instruments through Suite 8.
Thing is, my laptop's visibly lagging and fucking up in practises. Any mods for my laptop/rig (audio interfaces etc.) you could suggest that don't involve just buying a fucking macbook pro?
