I was getting annoyed that everytime I wanted to open NPP I had to right click on a file then open with... as searching in the start menu didn't find it, so I just made a shortcut on my desktop and haven't renamed it.

I'm considering getting Rainmeter and putting some RSS feeds from sites such as Gizmodo and Lifehacker down the LHS (Or/And the RHS) however I'm a bit apprehensive as to whether or not Rainmeter will take up many resources for when I'm playing the vidya - any suggestions/recommendations/advice please?

Pretty sure Notepad++ comes with an optional context menu add-on. Lets you right-click a file and select Edit with Notepad++ without having to go through Open With...

Changed it to small just to see what's it like, and guess it ain't too bad.

Rainmeter's not going to take up much resources at all. Right now this dock thing I have going with rainmeter only uses 3MB of ram.
