Decided to finally OC my Q6600 (default clockspeed: 2.4) to ~3GHz by changing the FSB to from 1066 to 1333
had to set FSB / RAM divider to 3:2 and got 888Mhz (RAM is 800MHz by default) to get a stable system.
everything works fine so far, fans spinning a little faster and the idle temps are around 45 - 51c.
I've never overclocked before so i thought I'd ask if what I've done is alright and safe to keep?
thanks
