I have a portable DVD player that has a stuck laser. at first it wasn't playing discs and just said 'loading', so I manually moved it from the very back of the track to the very front, now it reads the cdinfo and what files are on the disc, but it won't load the disc when you select a file; opening the pop-top reveals the laser is still in the same position I manually set it at (even when I move the laser to the middle of the track).
