biggest monitor under $200? under $300?

Looking for an HTPC monitor/monitor with a tv tuner.

I have a 19" now and I need something bigger for watching movies. Sometimes I can't see the words.

I am getting some money for tax returns and want to treat myself.

I'm thinking a 32" would do nice.

Can be 720p

My current resolution is 1440x900. Keeping that would be great though.

any suggestions?

Nothing cheap and not worth getting.

Buy the TV tuner separately and install it into your HTCP, then buy a nice-sized computer monitor.

It will be cheaper, and you'll most likely have a better-quality display.

Always go to a physical, IRL shop and compare working monitors before purchasing online. Image quality is subjective, and never, ever buy one that you haven't personally seen working.

well, theres your problem son, you bought a shitty monitor. dont get a monitor that is below 1920x1080 resolution if you plan on watching HD content on it, it will just look like ass. A laptop that I won in a contest has a Blu-ray drive, but the monitor only has a resolution of 1366x768, and it makes everything that I try to play in it look just as shitty as a dvd. A side by side comparison between 1080p blu-ray content playing on a TV via DVI-D @ 1920x1080, and on the laptop screen @ 1366x768 really shows the difference, and makes the computer screen look like total shit.

Just buy a normal monitor and download any shows you want to watch.

because your resolution is shit. I can read my 1920x1080 22in monitor from 15 feet away. If you are planning on sitting that far away, consider getting a TV, but get a 1080p TV, cause getting a 720p tv these days is just stupid. Or, you could get a large size monitor, and a TV tuner, that works just as well.

You do realize you just gave the government a 0% interest loan and you're going to waste the money on a shitty 720p TV that will still look blurry from a distance.
