So I'm in the market for either a second monitor to complement my current 23 inch Samsung TN led monitor... or replace it with a 30 inch 2650x1600 monitor.

Now I say a 30 inch monitor at that resolution because that's all there is at higher resolutions. Where are high DPI monitors? I'd like to get a 24 or 25 inch monitor at that resolution(I have a somewhat small desk and office space). I see phones with dpi between 200-340.. why can't we get monitors above 100 dpi?

Is there some sort of technology barrier to large high dpi displays or is the market simply not there if they were sold?
