A woman who has her hands on top of her breasts is said to be a sign of maternity. In fact, small idols were created in older times of naked women with hands in similar positions which were used in trade. Mostly as a superstitious charm for 'good luck' in giving birth and the like. An equivalent to a lucky rabbits foot if you will. The reason for this position is because the breasts of the mother grow larger in preparation to nurse the child during pregnancy, and this leads the eye directly to the nipples.
