>>3155295>In fact, may I ask why /h/ is so ridiculously slow lately? (1) The novelty of posting is gone for many longtime residents. So they may be around but don't post.
(2) Rule breakers make /h/ less hospitable. An example is /y/ type gay material being posted by "/y/ lifestyle enthusiasts" who euphemistically call anal sex "pegging".
(3) Trollers and people in bad moods jumping on a thread to attack posters, the posts, or derail the thread. These people are taking out their life rage on a target that cannot hurt them back because if they hit their girlfriend, she could call the police and have the angry troll arrested.
(4) Low quality posts
(5) Alternative forum or fapping sites
(6) Lack of altruism. It takes some effort to want to post something good that benefits others who like that kind of material. Nowadays, such liberal types of thinking are on the wane as conservatives love to call liberals "commies" yet in the past, it was typically the liberal attitudes of creating community and giving to others that created many great threads.
(7) Selfishness manifesting as Apathy about contributing or making helpful posts is also occurring in many other websites.
