My problem with Vvardenfell is that the sheer amount of varied landscapes, climates, and environments all exist on a six-square-mile island. Swamps, grasslands, desert, etc, all so close to eachother. I know it's fantasy, but Oblivion just felt a whole lot more consistent in atmosphere and world-design.
Also, I think Oblivion is the superior game.
