>>1730069>Most food posted is european.Wrong. Typical Euro... thinking they "invent" everything. Outside of the deserts/pastries (and even then not all of them) and a few of the generic dishes (like braised beef), most of the food posted here WASN'T invented in Europe, interestingly enough.
Cheeseburgers, repeated many, many times in this thread were invented in the USA. Coffee? Invented in the Middle East, not Europe. Sushi? Japan. Pomegranate? Native to the Middle East, not Europe. Walnut-Pecan pie? Pecans are native to USA, not Europe. Watermelon? Native to Africa, not Europe. Udon Noodles and shrimp? Japan again. "Sub" sandwiches, again repeated several times with various fillings? Invented in the USA. Cornflake breaded chicken? Cornflakes invented in the USA. Barbecued/baked ribs with sauce? Invented by African slaves in the USA. Rainbow "gay" cake? Rainbow gay flag invented in the USA. Those gorgeous dense chocolate brownies? Surprise! USA. Fried onion rings? Earliest documented recipe in a USA magazine. Shish Kabobs? Invented in the middle east, not europe. Gumbo and that jambalaya? USA.
So yeah, no.
