All right /hr/, I hope there are some video experts who read my post. THIS is all of the back of my Samsung HDTV.

Now, i'm going to post a picture of the 3 wires my really fucking expensive camera came with. I THINK! that one of these plugs makes my camera an internal recorder, so I can record my TV sessions on camera. Only thing Is... I dont fucking know how.

Now, when I connect my camera with the USB into the port on my HDTV, i get 4 options.

Auto, Pictbridge, PTP/MTP, and Mass Storage

When I pick either, it just says "USB mode connecting..." but it really never loads...

Sorry man all those ports ( apart from the digital sound ) are in you can't record anything from it your best bet is to buy a picking up a hdd recorder (about €120) hooking your xbox up to that then running the hdd to the tv

your problem isn't that a port is being blocked your tv has no out ports on it they're all in ports sadly hd video signal can only go one way it's the price we pay for the higher res

I also have one of these, you've got a USB connector obviously, then a composite video(yellow) and a mono audio(black). Your problem is that even if your model camera can record with the composite video connector, your television does not have a video out. Unless you can find another tv in your house that has a composite video out, you can't do it. You can, however, display your previously recorded videos and pictures on your tv, by plugging the yellow connector into the yellow jack, and the black connector into the red jack next to "av in".

See that AV In? Hook the Yellow one up to the other Yellow one, then hook the Black one up to the White L, then switch to the Video mode on your Camera, and connect the cord..... OMFG LOOK!

Your problem is that most televisions do not have a video OUTPUT. Only inputs. You need to have something connected in line between the game console and the television to record.
