It may have been anime, but I'm fairly sure it was aimed at kids...even if adults watch it too...in both Japan and the west. I don't care, I watch shit on cartoon network still, as do a lot of people it seems.

Maybe it's just me, but is that really "mature"?

Maybe it would be in a movie, like a REAL movie, even in a Hollywood movie at its lamest, but in anime there doesn't seem anything mature about that stuff. In fact, at best it's juvenile (and then at worst it's fetishized, it's like what Michael Jackson would think).

Anime isn't art anyway.

I'm a bartender at a nice hotel/conference. This past summer, for some fucking reason, we had a convention of anime faggots in the hotel for a weekend.
