Stick to digital or to traditional media, don't switch betwen both. This shows that you don't really have a strong grasp of either mostly because this does not flow as a piece.
It is extremely awkward. The placement is extremely irregular but it seems as though it should have some sort of patterning to it. I don't like the mix of paper cut-outs and random drawn or stamped symbols around the "pyramids" which I would guess you're trying to make? Kinda reminds me of Stargate. But it also looks like you have some indian and other ethnic symbols in this.
Figure out what you're trying to convey other than a general "feeling" and if that's all you want to have people feel or focus on, then you need to actually do some reasearch and think about things other than just throwing objects together and slapping a background behind all of them in hopes that it would unify the piece.
Honestly, the flat purple with the white border is more successful than the stuff you have going on in the middle. Change some of the image sizes, make them take up more space. Your negative space shouldn't be more important than the content, which it is at this point.
Do some thumbnails and work on creating a focal point, good negative space and movement. And if you can, more contrast. That would help this piece greatly.
