I want to design some poker site skins for this contest, but the contest will probably be won by some retarded skins like this

What do people find "OMG HELLA COOL" or whatever? I just want to wow a bunch of people who are impressed by shoops like these

I'm not asking for you to do anything, but give me some ideas. Surely, /ic/ has lots of experience bullshitting people who know nothing about design.

Problably something dark(or the opposite- extrmely white with a hint of some other color), maybe buttons that have white liquid highlights. You could make the oval make more flat(make the seats three dimensional?) and use the space left above for some sort of a decoration.
Put tits in background.

Added a image, but the design is more suited for Gaia than what you are looking for.

OK I like the light blue color scheme
maybe not that white, but the whole theme could be like "cool breeze" or something like that lol

it should have ten billion gradients and tons of unnecessary decorations like the lines on the side in the OP

The players shouldn't even notice the design. Try making it just look natural. People will be playing a game so they will probably stare at it for a long time so don't make it TOO bright. Everything should be easily findable by the player so not too many decorations either.
You should make it look comfy rather than cool because it makes the person feel casual and a place where they would spend their free time thus making them come back to play there.
But that's just my theory, maybe the ones holding the contest would rather have flashy stuff than a functional design.
But if if the winner is chosen by people via a poll, do something flashy.
