High-angle photos make the subject appear more feminine by narrowing and pointing the jaw

Low-angle photos make the subject appear more masculine by widening and filling out the jaw

This explains why all girls take high-angle myspace shots; They're all butch

It's actually the opposite. High angle shots also have a slimming effect, because the chin becomes narrower and you can't tell if she's fat.
From below a woman can look really manly and fat because of her jawline.

This theory may potentially extend to other factors: High angle shots also make the eyes appear bigger, the nose appear thinner, and the cheeks appear fuller. The only thing that it doesn't translate very well to is the brow line; The brow would tend to look heavier from a high angle, I'd imagine.

high-angle photos give you the impression those myspace girls are tiny little things to be conquered and then fucked. i got a semi writing that last part.

The majority of fat stored in the face is under the jawline. Since a light source directly aimed there (ie a camera flash) would emphasize that area, it would highlight an area that is basically covered by shadows.

At a natural, relaxed angle where the bottom of the jaw would be visible, it usually requires the head to be forced back. Consequently, the stored fat becomes more prominent, which can create a double chin effect even in thin people.
