Are some people just not able to draw decent?

I know where the line should be, I know where the edges and all that should be, but when I go to actually draw them down they end up all over the place, looking nothing like what I want them to. Lopsided, shaped wrong, too far/too close to the neighboring lines. Things like that.

It doesn't seem to go away with practice, and it doesn't seem like it ever will go away with practice since it seems I'm just horrible at guiding my hand to make the line the way I should.
