I don't really see the resemblance between my character and Conrad either. With the exception of the fact that he has dark hair (styled differently) and glasses, mine is more angular, emaciated, and has a completely different personality.
I say these things not to be defensive, as I'm sure that your comments were benevolent, but simply as a response. I do want to eventually develop into my own style but as I said, I don't consider myself as having a style yet.
