Art Critique / Lessons

No.945358 View ViewReplyOriginalReport
Kinda curious about something. I've been reading lately here about how new artists who have a good teacher/mentor can grow leaps and bounds versus those that don't. Finding one (a good one) is obviously not easy. I'm not sure if there are any sites like this, but would anyone use a site that connected students to mentors? Like, a mentor could advertise his critiquing/lessons at a set cost rate, and students could apply for the services.

I'm sure there are places like this, just not sure how used they are or what not.

(I love the critique on /ic/ at least, brutally honest!)
