Hey /ic/, I really got a problem. I'm about to make my folder for college and it's the Games Academy in Frankfurt a.M./Germany. So I thought about makin' a few Concept Arts. And here's my problem:
I'm already trained in makin' skin and such things, but I tried to make a landscape and it's very hard for me to begin. Has anyone tips or tricks, how to start?

Lovely... now for real, I still have the problem, how to begin a concept art of a landscape... I really would like to draw without thinking and just let the brush do the work, but I can't. So still waiting for tips and tricks to do this... the best information was the "Bob Ross"-Thing... thanks to you...

compare your painting to the one you posted in the first post. You see the differences right? What are the differences? I'm sorry but the guy who painted your first picture has never been able to do that, he puts lots of thought into everything he paints, after years of study. You need to reassess your approach before anyone can help you if you want to make a transition from amateur to pro. And no, Bob Ross's package for grannies painting quaint landscapes will not help you because he teaches a very specific bob ross technique that is purely tricks rather than any fundamentals.
