Noted and agreed, her right breast should follow the curve to look more natural. Support yes, but probably not a super-tight bra or anything like that.

I don't like the way they're holding hands, so I'll probably redo that when I can get back to work. Thanks!

the stubbiness of the hand is probably due to its size and length, especially the length of the fingers, compared to the arm/body.

Thanks, this is actually very helpful. I have a pet peeve against women with large manly hands so making them small and "cute" works against me in many ways. I guess I just have to find the balance, but the reference pictures you posted do help. From the base of the wrist to the tip of the middle finger hand should be as long as the forearm is what I'm getting. I'll burn that in the back of my head.

Could have to do with the fact that, especially in females, the necks tend to be thinner(as in much more than it is realistically)? In my case I just don't like to draw the underside of the head, so I try to make up for it elsewhere, sometimes with shading o some extra lines.

Thanks all - when I get back home tonight I'll work on these flaws and take it from there. Any opinions on the background or composition? I find that to be my weakest link and it's the one I'm eager to improve on.

-anime artists don't like to/don't know how to draw the underside of the chin/are unaware how much it can effect how you draw the face/don't really know how jawbones work
-anime faces are really really warped to make up for the lack of chin underside/jawbone, so the cheeks are made really crazy-sloped to compensate

Alright, had some time to work on it even though my eyes were killing me.

There. Tried to improve on the things you guys mentioned. I couldn't get the girl on the right's chin any further from her neck without completely throwing off her expression. I like the way they hold hands better now but it still seems somewhat odd.

It's exaggerated to the point of looking a bit off there, I think, but try spread-eagling your fingers and then curling them in towards your palm. They will curve inwards a bit.

Not so much if you're making a fist though.

I don't think that was his point, it looks like her chin is trying to hide inside her neck. Stylization aside, I think her chin needs to be pushed away from her neck a bit. Atm it does kinda have a "hurrdurr" look to it. I mean, it's a wonderful piece overall so far, but dat chin.

Don't forget, just because we're stylizing doesn't mean we aren't working with real life as the base-coat.

I don't think you get it. While I understand that you want to keep the animekawaiidesu look, those chins just look bad. Glaringly bad. Everything else us fine, just fix those fucking chins, and don't make excuses. "I don't like drawing underside of head" is the same as "I'm bad at hands, so I exacerbate the problem and hide them in pockets, etc. so I never get better at them and no one can see." Making up for it in other areas does shit. Fixing them so they don't look shit stupid doesn't automatically turn your animu into realism either, so you can forget that excuse too.
