Does anyone know any Photoshop tutorials for this kind of dotted shading?

I'm such a noob that I cannot remember the name for that shading technique.
Is there any way to change flat colors into this kind of shading?

If you just want the effect Filter-->Sketch-->Halftone. You will probably want to do it channel by channel, and use spot channels.

If you want it to print that way for output for a some stenciling process (like screenprinting), use the halftone controls in the print dialog box, a laser printer, and google lpi/dpi and halftones
