I'm not quite sure if this is the place to ask for this, so please bear with my faggotry.

I was looking in on how to copy the style of medieval drawings such as this one, but I don't know how they were done and the books I have don't really say anything about that. Is there a specific sort of pen or tool or whatever that I must use to recreate lines like these? That's all I really want to know. I'll be thankful for any help.
