The bad part is that CloudFlare considers .js files to be static content. This means that they're cached, and look completely the same regardless of whether the site is up or down. And even if cloudflare didn't cache the script, your browser probably would if you visited the status page while the site was up. This is why it sometimes gives incorrect results.
What it should do is check the HTTP response. The cloudflare error returns "503 Service Temporarily Unavailable", which is probably how
http://isup.me determines whether something is down. Of course moot doesn't really give a fuck about the status page, and I suppose we shouldn't either considering there are better status checkers out there.
