I must say the first time I discovered the yukkuri abuse fandom, I was repulsed. I decided that "this is some sick shit and I want to never have anything to do with it". Needless to say, after some time I was hooked anyway and now I'm an active translator at OYP...
I enjoy yukkuri art and fiction, including abuse, but the moral status of yukkuri abuse still remains clear to me. Torturing and killing is bad. Although I really love the concept of yukkuris, abuse is the reason I wouldn't really want them to exist / wouldn't want to live in a world where yukkuri exist.
So I often view the abuse stories from the yukkuri's viewpoint. Anon in True Happiness is a horrible, despicable human being and I don't want to side with him, but the story viewed through a yukkuri's eye is powerful. The ending -- a flashback to happier days, then a frame with all that dead bodies -- actually makes me want to cry.
"Justice" is a more difficult issue. I realize that most of the attempts to justify violence towards yukkuris are bullshit, but sometimes I cannot help but be convinced. "Flower Badge Reimu" (Anon discovers that his beloved pet has been repeatedly raped by invading Alice, so he takes a baseball bat and confronts the home invaders) is a good example. Violence toward the shitheads can be very satisfying, and certainly "makes moral sense" -- at least in some in-universe way.
