I'm taking way more than I thought with this, but I like to take it easy and not rush as quick as I can to the ending.
It doesn't help that I'm currently short of ingredients and sellable items so I have to grind as fuck. Oh well.
In other news, Ato's abs make me happy in my special spot.

yeah being short on ingredients and sellable items is common in late game. and then I feel I need to get to grind to put something on sale. ended up only using the normal shitty clerk, and still selling well. its somewhat crazy when you put items worth of 100 000 in shop and go away for 7 days, and then bam all sold out if there is even 2 good clerks.
also it took me 90 hours to finish my first playtrough.

on other news, it's nice to see that Kamidori is doing well in EGS, it still high up there after this while, might become first Eushully game to remain among the 90+point games there.

If someone can give me some links to websites that discuss data-file hacking and image-extraction/insertion then I can get to work on that part. I know enough programming, but I'm having trouble finding the tools/info I need to get started.

Play the first game but do not do any of the following:

-Save and reload to get better results from cards/levels/etc.
-Do like pokemans and try to get EVERY unit.
-Bother with multiple endings.

I made the mistake of doing all of the above, I ran out of giveafuck just before finishing for the first time and then I lost the gamesave in a hard drive wipe. My recommendation is to just get 2 or 3 preferred units and give them just a few rerolled levels so they can get good stats.

You don't need either to play the other, so go with the flavor you like more, Kamidori is about running your alchemy shop and having consensual sex in the missionary position with your significant other and elemental spirits, Himegari is about being a demon lord trying to regain his powers and fight the good guys while raping women and making them your slaves together with your familiar.

plot events, and late quest rewards. you probably wont even reach the first h-scene in 14 hours (happens at ch4) depending how addicted you get to gameplay and start doing something than main quest.

So, do I get to fuck the female Yuichiri (the elf-looking things in OP picture from last thread)? She doesn't have a section in the H-gallery, but there's a section for the MC, which I'm assuming is a misc. section unless they decided to put in 5 masturbation scenes.

You're just there to be the best alchemist ever and somehow save your neighborhood in the process. It's paced slower. A considerable amount of time will be crafting and gathering materials. There's almost no drama whatsoever.

Himegami gives you a personal motive right away. You play as a demon whose power has been sealed. With only your weak familiar to start with, you start climbing up the ladder again and extracting revenge on those who sealed you. Because you are playing a demon lord you can expect to do demon lord things like building an actual army, enslaving or sacrificing monster and generally have violent fun plowing through the dungeons

So for me, I much prefer the fast paced gameplay and storyline of HImegari.

Of course this is coming from someone whose favorite Eushully characters are Emilio, Ignat and Louie. All men of great. if violent ambition

seeing your tone suggests that you havent played Ikusa Megami Zero/Verita either, so if you want something more story centric they are suberb stuff in additition to good gameplay

You can ignore IM2, though. It didn't age well. Eushully were still tying to get the gameplay and characters right.

Trick is to leave your partners in the shop, use people with high customer skills like Emiritta. Advance in town for about 9 days, then come back. Something will surely sell.

Just camp by a whirlpool and kill them as they spawn, you should get at least one before the map runs out of turns

why would I ever touch hetare dungeon? that place is for people who are Good-For-Nothing in gameplay games. And I'm pretty good so not touching that easy-moodo place. It also gives you ugly hetare logo if you go there.

I think I broke it, near the very beginning. I stuck the swordswoman as my shopkeeper and now I can't use her for a mission. I also can't go to the second area of the forest. What am I missing? A restart wouldn't be bad this early, but if there's some way to fix this I might as well learn now.

and before you ask, go to your shop, item window, select character, and below the character boxes there is 3 buttons: status , dungeoncrawl, shopkeepan. so klick the middle one, the last one should be greyed due to her being shopkeepan

Now I got this feeling that I need to play IM2 sometime soon. and stop teasing with those rumors about those other two, and give me the damn quest/place to meet them already.

speaking of Ikusa Megami, I wonder when they'll announce the next one, now that Kamidori is out. Hopefully sometime soon

In my very honest opinion IM2 didn't age well.

It can be nintendo hard if you don't know what you are doing. ( hint: armors tend to hurt you more then help )

the pacing is slower

and expect for Haishera, most of the characters were just a bunch of fetish collections.

well, I'm still probably going to end up playing it. Not imiadely after this tough as there are others with higher priority. And if during that time the next announced IM game is remake of 1&2, then I'm going to skip the old ones, if it isnt tough then I'm probably going to end up playing it even tough it might have not aged well. as I'm kinda interested what kind of character Roka ends up being as Serika and Marsterrie don't mix well. also more Haisherra cant be bad for me, so I can endure some shittyness pretty well
