>>10642691Yeah, they're strange dogs and have all sorts of different dispositions
Fun fact!
>DNA analysis placed the ancestors of today's Shih Tzu breed in the group of "ancient" breeds indicating "close genetic relationship to wolves".[7] Ludvic von Schulmuth studied the skeletal remains of dogs found in human settlements as long as ten thousand years ago. Von Schulmuth created a genealogical tree of Tibetan dogs that shows the "Gobi Desert Kitchen Midden Dog", a scavenger, evolved into the "Small Soft-Coated Drop-Eared Hunting Dog who would fight lions in packs" which evolved into the Tibetan Spaniel, Pekingese, and Japanese Chin.So Shih Tzu's are closer genetically to wolves than the common victorian breeds we see everywhere. Fucking weird, man. Though they were bred to look like chinese dragons apparently.
Anyway, I'll tell you my dog's story, why not?
We rescued her from a friend of my gf's employee. The guy hated the Olive and would keep her outside all the time (she's not the biggest fan of innawoods, or really much outside at all) and she ran away or was "lost" (this part is unclear) Anyway, she was gone for 1-2 weeks, not reported missing, and considering the fact that she is a complete idiot it is remarkable that she survived. She was found on the highway and eventually we got her
So, another pic (hate me!)
This is her being a total operator, tactically sneaking in socom black ops navy seals call of duty hardcore VIPER assault squad scout trained style into my cousin's dorm room
