Alright, /k/. lets hear about your grandparents that went through a War, as I love old veterans. Gather round and lets share with each other the tales of our heroes

>Somehow dodges death several times throughout his campaign
>survived the first wave of Omaha Beach unscathed
>goes to movie theater in US occupied territory, but forgets his dogtags and goes back to get them, movie theater was bombed and everyone inside died
>me as a kid get a kidbonerkidkid from hearing these stories, with fond memories of me sitting on his lap (inb4 gay) when he showed me firearms magazines with pictures of the M14 lookin thing

call me a coward but i wouldn't give two shits about a luger that my spoiled grandkid would pawn off or some shit when i want to get the fuck back home
