It will be very difficult to move, I think, since the couch is ~7 feet long. One of the big chairs I will place at the threshold between 1 and 2, and open the door to the basement to give me a place to move out of the area of fire. In the space between the front door and the landing, I plan to place my coffee table, end tables, and assorted furniture as a way of delaying any maneuvers. The main weakness is the large, street level front window, which would likely be the way to enter, and where I would have to concentrate fire.
If they came in the back, they would have a much harder time, since it's a metal door and a stone facade with no windows. I would blockade that with my washing machine, I think, and maybe some additional pieces.
I definitely plan on retreating up the stairs, though. I have a literal deathtrap staircase, like the kind in the old medieval castles, where it's narrow, tight, and I can shoot without exposing myself at point-blank range. At that point, I would shift my chest of drawers, wardrobe, and all that shit; have it ready to toss down the staircase.
