So what's the deal with buying guns if you have a medical card (in cali)? I don't remember the exact wording in the questions you have to answer, but one says something along the lines of "have you used marijuana or any other illegal drugs".

Before I had a card, I had no problem lying on that question, but now it seems really burnt to say I don't/haven't ever used weed if I have a perscription for it.

Would the state-recognized legality of my use of marijuana exclude it from the question because it's not illegal (though it still is federally), or am I forever unable to buy guns from anywhere but private sales?
