If I was going to make it primarily a varminter, I'd probably go with a 20" bull barrel. I just don't hunt coyotes enough to warrant them getting their own rifle

Well like I said for your price you can get a spec'd out BCM and maybe even a DD AR if you wanted to. But you caan get apjust as good an AR from the brands I listed for much left.

go to BCM's website
order a stripped upper with handguards and a bolt
go to any other website and buy a complete lower
go to midway and buy a decent scope and pic-mount rings for it, or a rear iron sight
go home and assemble all of it

unless you look into billet, carbon, or polymer, no. All of them are t075 forged aluminum and are made to mil-spec measurements and so forth. They'll fit any lower. You may have to buy an accuwedge if there is a bit of loose play, but it won't really affect function if there is some.

About to do an AR-15 build.
Don't want AGGRESSIVE RAILZ, but would like something for a bipod or flashlight later on down the road.

Evening /k/. Was just curious what you guys think of this kit for a first time AR owner? I would be going with chrome lined barrel and maybe a couple other additions.
