Has anyone ever shot a LAW or RPG-7 at an Elephant before?

Do you think it would work against a creature the size of a humpback whale? Why or why not?

Also recommend me lightweight weapons with high penetration...

Nah you're gonna need something stronger against a Humpback whale. They're known for having slat armor on their bellies so they don't get the full impact from the RPG, pic related, it's the slat armor.

Both will probably do good damage to an elephant.

A whale might be tricky. They could probably penetrate the skin and maybe even the blubber, but the thing is so big that a small hole and a lot of pressure to one tiny area won't hurt it too bad unless you hit a vital area.

They used to use harpoons propelled by compressed air, with an explosive charge less than a hand grenade, to kill whales. So an RPG would do fine. The sheer mass of it would be enough to limit the explosive damage, but the shockwaves rippling through the blubber would pulverise its internal organs and nervous system

RPGs are shaped charges, that means they'll be directing a blast of hot copper in a relatively straight line through the whale... Probably enough to go straight through and blow out the other side, skulls and other major skeleton stuff not included.
