i realize the venerable 1911 has been discussed to death but i'd like to humbly ask one more question about it.
see i collect wwii guns (so far the mosin, kar98, garand, and thompson) and im just now getting to the 1911. the problem is that everyone and their mother make some version of the 1911, so im completely lost in the differences b/w each. im looking for the most historically accurate 1911A1 i can get, but still decently priced. i dont need a factory original or anything like that, just something that's close enough that it'll feel historic, if you know what i mean.
someone suggested a springfield arm. mil-spec, but would anyone agree with that, or have another opinion? thanks /k/
