Arent glocks made of plastic? This may just be a rumor, but thats why i avoid them. I dont accept polymer in a handgun. I can understand a rifle, desert warfare, Wood is too heavy for carrying all day, ww2 vets did it and won their war, but whatever. I just cant understand giving up the reliability of steel for the 1 lb? Difference the polymer makes. Theyve been making guns out of metal for (over 9000) years and its been working. You keep your exploding plastic guns, i like the heft and chill of cold steel in my hand. I mean, you wouldnt buy a car with a molded polymer engine, or a tank with a polymer shell. Im fairly certain glock isnt making their products out of plastic to increase reliability. Plus heavy gun absorbs more kick.
