I took my LCP to the range today. The first time ive ever shot it.

It happened to be a steel plate challenge day, which i was unaware of. I still wanted to test the function, so i was like "fuck it" and went with it.

Why god, why do i shoot this gun better than my 1911? I started doing great with both, but my 1911 abilities deteriorate over time but i was still dropping steel like a madman at 20 yards with this stupid LCP.

Time to get a glock?

Also, LCP. Sweet gun.

Herp, I already know im bad. But im significantly better with a gun i shouldnt be. I pull the 1911 left after a while.

My mother carries an LCP, and is terrifying with it.
I'd say get a Bersa in .380. It's what my father carries. Easy gun to shoot, smooth trigger pull, nice sights.

If you must get a small handgun, go with the LCP. Just know it had awful sights. Almost non-existent.

Guy who said Makarov here. I edc a 380cc. It's just as shootable as my glock 19. Go for it.

how easy is it to pocket carry? i know the lcp is smaller but will it still fit in the front pocket of some shorts? sorry for hijacking your thread op

it's a bit big and not with jeans. It's how the pockets are shaped. If the pockets are shaped more like on khaki slacks, then it's better but you'll still want a pocket holster.

I made a ghetto cardboard pocket holster and carried that way for all of last summer before getting a real IWB leather holster and I am MUCH happier now. I also print a SHITLOAD less.

tl;dr Bersa 380cc prints like a motherfucker without a pocket holster in jeans
