Hey /k/, moving to CA in a few months, but I plan on buying an AK chambered in 5.45 before I move. I know about the mag laws and the bullet button, and a good portion of the basics, but there's still some things I can't quite figure out.

A) Could somebody point me in the right direction for a list of banned receivers? I can't quite figure out which AKs are and aren't legal.

B) If I were to have a 30 round magazine here, and it were to be modified so it could only hold 10 rounds, and then further modified once in CA to hold 30 again, would I have imported a 30 round magazine and committed a felony?

C) I've already read Romanov's op guide to AKs, so I don't really need any recommendations on brands- but information on AKs by specific countries of origin would be helpful.
