First, yes, gun control does lead to the revocation of firearms. It's what has happened in every major metropolitan area in the country that banned weapons. New York, Chicago, D.C. They all instituted a gun registry and a few years later they used that registry to confiscate guns after they were banned.
Second, yes, a mass shooting every couple of months is a suitable price to pay for easy access to firearms. Guns are used to prevent crime 2.5-3 million times a year. Anything that reduces the number of guns in the hands of law abiding citizens reduces the public's ability to defend itself. I know the families of the victims won't agree that their loved one's blood is fair payment but the rest of the country does. I am sorry for your loss but that is the small price to pay for freedom.
