>>8774141the pm9 took me a little getting use to. I cut my teeth on fullsize 1911s, so shooting a teeny little ultra-compact was difficult at first. Once I got past the initial 100rd or so, I became fairly accurate with it. The furthest I've shot so far with it is 20yds, and I can get a 3in grouping pretty consistently.
the trigger has a LONG pre-travel and reset, but it's very very smooth, comparable to the m&p9 that I posted (to which I applied APEX trigger upgrades). I'd estimate the trigger weight to come in around 6.5lb or so, which I think is pretty ideal for a EDC conceal gun. It's got a total of 600rds through it by now, 300 from me and 300 from the prev owner. It has been completely trouble-free (the prev owner is a trusted source).
As for kel-tec, I've not personally shot a pf9, but I haven't heard very many good thing about their pf9s. But since you can almost buy 3 kel-tecs for the price of one Kahr, they're still good bang for buck.
if you're on the fence on getting a kahr or a kel-tec, I'd recommend the kahr. It's better to spend a little extra cash now than to buyer's regret later.
